Adventure: a long day on the roadbike

From Constance to the top of Stelvio

The mountain panorama is tempting. From Lake Constance the alps seem so close but yet so far.

If you start early enough, a day in late September might be long enough. We tried it. And did it.

And we chose this route:

„It’s like cycling up a wall! A beautiful wall out of massive stone.“

We had perfect conditions, wonderful views, great pizza on top of Stelvio, just a really round trip.
Mountain passes are amazing because you don’t have to do much route planning. Also, the infrastructure is genuinely good (bus transfer if needed accessible) and the effort will ALWAYS be rewarded in the end.

Thanks Andrea, my partner in crime for microadventures and long rides, for the inspiration and the idea of this trip!

Here you can find my summary about this trip on Instagram 🙂

And this is the activity on Komoot.
